Sparkle!
Sparkle! is a flashy dice roguelike inspired by the classic push-your-luck scoring of Farkle, expanded into a full run-based strategy game with shops, upgrades, special dice, persistent modifiers, CPU opponents, unlockable challenges, secrets, and an Endless Mode.
Designed for both PC and mobile browser play, Sparkle features a responsive interface, mouse and touch controls, adjustable pacing options, and dedicated mobile layout support.
Each run begins as a 10-round gauntlet. Every round raises the target score, forcing you to decide when to keep rolling, when to bank your points, and when to risk everything for a bigger turn.
Win a round and you’ll visit the shop, where you can spend Sparks on special dice, battle dice, rare upgrades, and tokens that reshape your build.
The dice are real 3D assets with physics-based rolls—not hidden, predetermined results. When they tumble, bounce, land, and betray you, that’s the roll you got.
Build a rig. Push your luck. Break the scoring system. Chase the Cosmic secrets.

How It Plays
Roll the dice tray and select the dice you want to hold. Scoring dice can be kept, points can be banked, and every decision pushes you closer to safety—or disaster.
Win the round, earn Sparks, and improve your rig in the shop.
Your build might focus on safer scoring, aggressive CPU disruption, huge combo turns, rare dice effects, Spark generation, Ignite bonuses, Cosmic unlock hunting, or a mixture of several strategies.
Different CPU builds introduce their own strategies and challenges, including:
- Battle Control
- Tempo Control
- Encore Circuit
Runs usually take around 30–45 minutes, depending on luck, strategy, and the selected CPU pacing.
After clearing the 10-round gauntlet, you can start a fresh run or continue into Endless Mode and see how far your build can go. When you are finished, you can formally complete the Endless run to finalize its statistics without deliberately losing.
Controls
PC
- Click dice to select or hold them
- Click Roll Dice to roll
- Click Keep Selected to keep scoring dice
- Click Bank Points to secure your turn score
- Use the mouse wheel to zoom the dice-tray camera
- Use the mouse wheel to scroll shop and menu screens
- Hover over dice and tokens to view their abilities, statistics, and Ignite status
- Press ESC to open the game menu
Camera zoom can be locked from the settings to prevent accidental mouse-wheel zooming.
Mobile
Sparkle supports touch controls and responsive mobile layouts.
For the best experience, launch the game in landscape orientation. A dedicated startup screen will help portrait-mode players rotate their device and allow the game to fit the available screen before launching.
Touch the dice and on-screen controls to play. Pinch zoom can be disabled through the optional camera zoom lock.
Because mobile browsers and device dimensions vary, minor layout differences may occur across phones and tablets.
No Farkle Experience Required
You do not need to already know Farkle to play.
The in-game How to Play section explains scoring combinations, Sparkle-specific rules, shops, upgrades, Cosmic Dice, and the core flow of a run.
Saves and Cosmic Progression
Sparkle supports up to three save slots, along with persistent player statistics and Cosmic unlock tracking.
Existing save data and Cosmic progression are preserved when the game is updated.
Players who previously unlocked Cosmic Dice and want to experience the redesigned challenges can reset only their Cosmic Dice progression from the game menu.
Development and AI Transparency
Sparkle is a solo-developed game created in my free time.
The game’s mechanics, scoring systems, item concepts, dice abilities, tokens, unlocks, progression, shop systems, balance changes, quality-of-life features, and overall design were personally directed, developed, balanced, and tested by me.
AI tools were used during development for coding assistance, select visual assets, the logo, and music generation. The soundtrack was generated with Suno AI based on the intended tone and creative direction.
This is an AI-assisted indie project, not a prompt-and-export game. I built Sparkle with the tools available to me, and any support helps me continue making better games—including, hopefully, commissioning more human-made art and assets for future projects.
I’ve tested the current version across multiple devices and screen sizes, but I cannot test every possible phone, tablet, browser, or PC configuration. If you encounter formatting problems, unusual behavior, or another issue, please leave a comment or report it. I’ll do my best to investigate and fix it.
Pricing
Sparkle is available as pay what you want, including free.
If you’re unsure about supporting AI-assisted work, you are welcome to play for free. If you enjoy the game and want to support future projects, a donation is genuinely appreciated.

Addicting! Really cool mechanics with the dice upgrades! Love it, will keep playing!
Very fun, almost a roguelite / casino-arcade style Farkle game with nice music and an enjoyable game play loop
